Soft Tissue Release — STR.
It is a new and developing technique that can produce fast effective results in releasing areas of severe soft tissue tension produced by fibre adhesions or local fibrositic nodules.
The technique is to apply pressure to the area of tension and then by active or passive movements stretch the tissue, effective at reducing tensions in muscle of the neck and shoulders.
- Reduces tension in the leg muscles including adductors, abductors, extensors and flexors.
- Arm muscles etc.
- Aids postural problems resulting from muscle tensions
Results in improved range of movement, increased strength and mobility, and a reduction in pain or discomfort. Can also improve posture and body shape where problems are caused by local areas of tensions.
